This website (queer-donors.com) does not set any cookies, use any tracking pixels, or run any analytics software. We do not collect or store any personal data about your visit.
When you share your story:
When you submit your story through our third-party form, we ask for your story and your email address. We ask for your email so we can follow up with any questions we might have. Your email address is kept confidential and will never be published or shared. Stories may touch on sensitive matters such as health, fertility, and sexual orientation; we only ever process what you choose to send us, and only for the purposes described below.
When you sign up for updates:
If you sign up to our email list, you voluntarily provide your email address. We use it only to send you the occasional updates you asked for. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send, after which we'll stop contacting you.
Our email sign-ups and emails are handled on our behalf by Brevo (Sendinblue SAS), a French email service provider whose servers are located within the European Union. Brevo acts as our data processor and stores your email address solely so we can send you these updates. You can read how they handle data in Brevo's Privacy Policy.
How We Use Information
Stories submitted may be edited for clarity and to ensure the privacy of any individuals mentioned. They may then be published on this website to help others feel seen and less alone. Your story will always be published anonymously unless you give us explicit, separate consent to use your name.
Email addresses provided with story submissions are used only for correspondence about your submission. Email addresses provided for our email list are used only for sending occasional updates, on the basis of your consent, and are kept only until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
Hosting and Third-Party Services
This website is hosted and served through Cloudflare, Inc. As part of their network operations, Cloudflare processes some visitor data (like IP addresses) for security and performance. We do not have access to this raw data. You can read more in Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
Email updates are handled through Brevo (Sendinblue SAS), as described above.
Data Security & Your Rights
All traffic to and from this website is encrypted via HTTPS. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information (such as your email address) at any time, and to withdraw your consent to receive updates. Note that stories are published anonymously: once a story is online it no longer identifies you, so it isn't usually possible to remove it, though we can remove your name if you had asked to be credited.
